Welcome to Wheelers Hill Child Care Centre

Wheelers Hill Child Care Centre is a 101 place childcare and kindergarten service that has been a part of the Wheelers Hill community since our establishment in June 2012. We are part of the Trident Early Learning early childhood organisation.

Our high-quality childcare and kindergarten services cater to all children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years located throughout Wheelers Hill, Glen Waverley, Mulgrave, Notting Hill, Clayton and beyond. We are situated within the City of Monash council municipality, and are located on Bunurong country.

Our centre provides a play-based learning program to enhance and enrich children's developmental skills. We have a large outdoor playground with big open spaces and shade from natural trees and shade sails. The children love gardening and looking after our vegetables and worm farm. In the kinder yard, we have a fabulous fort that the children love to climb and explore.

We have a doctor who attends once a week, as well as a Happy Feet fitness program weekly, and a Kelly Sports program once a fortnight. We have incursions throughout the year and an extensive menu cooked fresh daily on the premises, that caters for children with dietary requirements and food allergies.

We have enthusiastic staff with many years of experience who have been educating here for many years and have built a great rapport with the families. We also have a centre photographer who comes in yearly to take amazing photos of the children that you will be able to keep forever.

I couldn’t ask for a better centre for my little girl, Jessie. The team at Wheelers Hill Child Care Centre make you feel so welcome. It has such a lovely feel to the place. Even though it’s quite a big centre, I just love how all the staff know everyone by name, even the gorgeous chef, Mel. I asked my 4-year-old daughter what she liked most about the centre. Jessie’s response was ‘I have so much fun learning there and.... they love me.’ She is absolutely right on both accounts. I spent 6 months researching centres and I’m so happy that I found such a caring team of professionals for both Jessie and I.

The staff are wonderful and extremely approachable. My 2 kids love it there. I will be sad to say goodbye to the staff when my littlest one graduates from kinder at the end of next year.

I have had both my children attend Wheelers Hill Child Care Centre from an early age. My oldest child went through baby room, toddler 1, toddler 2 and is now in Kindy 3 and my youngest child is in the baby room. For the whole time, the staff have been very approachable regarding any issue or concerns I may have.

The staff are highly motivated to provide the best educational and care outcomes for all children at the centre. My kids absolutely love their teachers and the food that Chef Mel prepares each day. The Centre Director is always on top of everything and is very accommodating regarding changing days & adding an extra where possible. The teachers are very flexible and often do duties outside of their role and do it with a smile.

This is an awesome child care centre and I would not hesitate to recommend to any family or friends looking for somewhere to go. The carers in the baby room are simply the best, even assisting with my child’s physio exercises to ensure on the days when she was there, that the exercises were completed - she is now up and walking. My older daughter has come home of a night so excited by what she has learnt that day in Kinder 3. I love that the teachers have cultivated a love for learning in their rooms.

I have been so fortunate to find this childcare. My son is nurtured and well cared for and that is what every mother wants at the end of the day. Extra special is the ease at which it is to book extra days when I need it and the flexibility which I know many other childcares do not have. Our daughter loves her childcare! Great team. She's made so many friends, and often is too busy having fun when we come to collect her! She even told me off one day, saying that I collected her too early haha...

The educators have a great balance of learning based fun. Playground is awesome too! Recommend to any family in the area :)

We have been at Wheelers Hill Child Care Centre since 2015, since our boys were babies, first with our eldest (now in Grade 2) and continuing with our youngest who are now in Kinder 4. Wheelers Hill feels like our second home. The staff there are friendly, caring and wonderful educators and we know they have our children’s best interests at heart.

Our children love the centre so much and we will be sad to leave at the end of the year!

Nothing was ever too much for them. I fully attribute them with the progress she has made over the short time she has been with them! Wheelers Hill Child Care Centre is a fantastic centre which my son has enjoyed for the past 2 years. The outdoor and indoor spaces are amazing, the child care progressional and kinder teachers are all kind and caring not to mention the fantastic meals prepared fresh every day. Not only with the children and families but the security measures they have in place are incredible. The facility itself is clean and resources are always up to date.
